FAQ & Shipping

Everything you need to know about orders, shipping, commissions, and the legal stuff.

Shipping & delivery

Where do you ship from?

Open-edition prints are shipped directly from our EU print partner in Latvia. Limited editions are shipped to me in Oslo first, where I sign and number every copy before sending it to the collector. Stickers and originals are also packed and shipped by hand from Oslo.

How much does shipping cost?

Norway: 79 NOK flat rate for prints. 59 NOK for stickers.
EU / EEA: 149 NOK for prints. 129 NOK for stickers.
Rest of world: 199–249 NOK depending on destination.
Free shipping on orders over 500 NOK (Norway only).

How long does delivery take?

Norway: 2–5 business days.
EU: 5–10 business days.
POD prints (all destinations): 7–14 business days (printed on demand, then shipped from Latvia).

Do you offer tracking?

Yes — all limited print, original, and large orders include tracking. Sticker orders use tracked letter post when available.

My order arrived damaged. What do I do?

Take a photo and email art@bobbyawesome.me within 7 days of delivery. I'll sort it out — either a replacement or a refund, your choice.

Prints

What's the difference between a limited edition and a regular print?

Open-edition prints have no fixed quantity and can be ordered as needed. Limited editions are capped at 25 copies: the run is shipped to me, then I sign and number every print before sending it to the collector. Once an edition sells out, it's never reprinted.

What paper and print quality?

Regular prints: archival matte art paper, 200–250 gsm, printed at 300 DPI.
Limited editions: premium giclée paper (Hahnemühle or Canson), archival ink. Built to last decades.

Can I request a print of a specific piece?

Yes — use the "Request this as a print" button on any gallery piece, or send me a message. If there's enough demand I'll add it to the next print run.

Commissions

How does the 50% deposit work?

You pay 50% when you book. This is non-refundable once I've started the sketch — it covers my time for the initial work. The remaining 50% is invoiced via a Stripe payment link when the piece is complete and approved.

What if I'm not happy with the result?

Two rounds of revisions are included. I want you to be happy with the work. If there's a fundamental misunderstanding of the brief on my end, I'll redo it. What I can't do is unlimited changes after a direction is approved.

Do you retain copyright of commissions?

Yes — I retain full copyright of all work I create, including commissions. You receive a personal-use licence: you can print it, use it as a profile picture, post it online with credit. You cannot sell it, use it commercially, or mint it as an NFT without a separate commercial licence agreement.

Can I commission a character from a copyrighted franchise?

Yes, for personal use. I won't create fanart commissions intended for commercial use with third-party IP.

Returns & refunds

Can I return a print?

Physical products can be returned within 14 days if they arrive damaged or significantly different from what was described. Open-edition prints that are not damaged cannot be returned (they are made to order). Email art@bobbyawesome.me to start a return.

What about EU consumer rights?

As a Norwegian (EEA) seller, I comply with the EU Consumer Rights Directive as adopted in Norwegian law. You have the right to a 14-day cancellation period on physical goods not yet shipped. Custom-made items (commissions) are exempt from the right of cancellation once work has begun.

Privacy (GDPR)

What data do you collect?

For orders: name, email, shipping address (via Stripe — I never see your card details). For request forms: name and email. This data is used only to fulfil your order or follow up on your request.

Do you share my data?

Only with the services required to fulfil your order: Stripe (payments), Printful (POD fulfilment), and Bring/PostNord (shipping). Never sold to third parties.

Can I request deletion of my data?

Yes — email art@bobbyawesome.me with the subject "Data deletion request" and I'll remove your data from all systems within 30 days, unless retention is required by law (e.g. accounting records).

Do you use cookies?

Only technically necessary cookies (session, Stripe). No tracking or advertising cookies. No Google Analytics.

Terms of sale

What are my rights as a buyer?

Norwegian consumer protection law (Forbrukerkjøpsloven) applies to all orders. You have the right to a product matching the description, a 14-day return window on physical non-custom goods, and the right to a remedy (replacement or refund) for defective goods.

What currency are prices in?

All prices are in Norwegian Kroner (NOK) including any applicable VAT once the MVA threshold is reached. International buyers are responsible for any import duties or local taxes in their country.
